05 — PROCESS OF THE GARMENT CREATION

'The Puzzle' — annotated flat mapping how semi-stitched bodices, belts, shorts and pleated skirts were pieced into one six-yard rectangle.'The Making: A Study in Circular Design' — the patched toile panel laid flat beside photos of the fabric being folded and cut.Subtraction-cutting phases — folding the panel, placing the bodice blocks, and reintegrating the subtracted fabric for zero waste.'The Front' and 'The Back' — technical illustrations of the finished gown's contoured bodice, waist pleats and cowled, cut-out back.
